Fair and Accessible Courts

The Justice of the Peace is often called the “people’s court” because it’s the court most residents interact with directly. From landlord–tenant disputes to traffic tickets, every case deserves to be heard with fairness, professionalism, and respect. Jay Mac has already presided over thousands of cases — including more than 10,931 criminal cases and 3,235 civil cases — leading the busiest Justice of the Peace Court in Montgomery County. He will continue to ensure that families, businesses, and individuals receive equal treatment under the law, no matter who they are.

Fiscal Responsibility

As both a judge and a small business owner, Jay Mac understands the importance of using resources wisely. He believes taxpayer dollars should be managed with the same care as a family budget or a business ledger. By streamlining court operations, improving efficiency, and prioritizing cost-effective solutions, Jay Mac will ensure that the JP Court remains accessible, effective, and responsible to the people it serves.

Serving with Integrity

For Jay Mac, being Justice of the Peace isn’t about politics — it’s about service. Residents deserve a judge who is guided by conservative values, strong character, and a commitment to doing what is right. Jay Mac will continue to lead with integrity, keep the public informed, and uphold the highest standards of accountability in the courtroom.

Strengthening Community Trust

The JP Court is where government feels most personal — where neighbors need resolutions to real problems in daily life. Jay Mac is committed to building trust by being approachable, transparent, and responsive. He will work tirelessly to ensure that the court is not only a place for justice, but also a cornerstone of community confidence in local government.
